Welcome to my favorite beauty products!! I hope this beauty gift guide will give you some courage to try something new or be the inspiration or idea for a gift for someone. 🙂
- The first product I’ll share about is the eyeshadow pictured above. Urban Decay Naked to Basics 2 has a great neutral palate and I wear it every day! TIP: apply concealer and powder to your eyelid before you put on your eyeshadow!
2. Olehenriksen makes WONDERFUL products but they’re pricy- so they’d make a great gift to really treat someone! This primer is amazing!
3. The vitamin C serum will last a long time… a little bit goes a long way. Vitamin C is an antioxidant and will help make your skin glow. 🙂
4. I love my CC cream! I’m all about using products with SPF in them. This is a light weight, full coverage foundation. I apply it with my beauty blender sponge.
5. Elta is my one and only Amazon subscription. I get this sunscreen delivered every other month. It was recommended to me by my dermatologist and I put it on EVERY morning. Did you know the sun hitting you in your home through a window is enough to cause sun damage? I used to only wear sun screen at the pool/beach or when I was going to be outside for a long time. Now, I wear this every day, all year long and even on cloudy days!
6. My go-to body lotion is Nivea.
7. But this Bum Bum Cream from Sephora smells so good!
8. My other favorite body cream is from KY Soaps and Such in Stanford KY!! They have so many scents of their soaps and lotions! My current favorite is Little Black Dress. 🙂
9. Speaking of smelling good… This is a wonderful new scent I just tried from Sephora!
10. When I’m in a hurry… or I slept on wet hair and now have crazy person hair this is my solution! In 3 minutes my hair will be smooth and ready to go!
11. My makeup setting spray! I was skeptical about needing a setting spray but I can actually tell a big difference when I use it.
12. For more hair and beauty tips I HIGHLY recommend The Small Things blog. The author used to be a hair stylist and has the best hair and makeup tips… tons of videos and pictures of her using the products. It’s awesome.
