Jane and her horse Beatle have a pretty special story.
Just 7 months ago Beatle was in a kill pen. Jane, her mom and her trainer saw something worth saving in this beautiful horse and took a chance on him. With hard work and patience they have been building trust in each other and I think that is clear in these sweet pictures!
Last weekend they got to compete in the beginner novice Pony Club Championships at the Horse Park in Lexington, KY!
Jane and her mom found my booth at the vendor fair and we were able to squeeze in a session after the awards ceremony and before they had to head back to Georgia the next day. I’m SO glad it all worked out and that they have these special memories of their trip to Kentucky.
While it’s clear that someone once loved Beatle, Jane has been working incredibly hard to rebuild that trust with him. They already have a special bond that was so fun to see!
The picture on the left might be my favorite picture I’ve ever taken!! I can’t believe they are BOTH laughing and I was able to catch that little moment! It’s the BEST!
Aren’t these two the BEST?!! It was a perfect night at the horse park and I’m so glad they trusted me to capture some special moments for this special pair. If you’ve never been to the Kentucky Horse Park before it’s definitely worth adding to your list of places to visit!
