This sweet goodbye session was a special mother’s day gift. Chewie joined their family when he was just a puppy- around 4 months old. He got his name because he looked so much like an ewok from Star Wars. 🙂
Over the past 2 months Chewie’s health has gone down hill quickly. They knew they didn’t have much time left with their sweet boy so we scheduled a Goodbye session at Waveland.
Thankfully the weather cleared up after storming all day so we were able capture these sweet memories.
What a privilege it was for me to witness the love and joy this sweet pup brought to his family.
It is so hard to say goodbye to a furry family member. I always allow space for all the feelings at these sessions and try to make this a celebration of the love and memories.
I bring rotisserie chicken to all my pup sessions and Chewie LOVED his chicken treats!
