Blue and Indigo’s puppies are 2 weeks old!! I can’t believe how much they’ve changed in 2 weeks. It’s crazy. Check out this blog post to see their newborn pictures. 🙂
All of their eyes are open and their little personalities are starting to come out.
Luckily, they are still small enough that we were able to get some really cute swaddle pictures! I had no idea- but swaddling a puppy has the same effect it has on a human baby…. they went straight to sleep when we wrapped them up. It was instant. I wish it worked that well on babies! Ha!
I’m so looking forward to their next pictures to see how much they’ve changed again!!
Indio continues to be an excellent mother and she really enjoyed the treats she got during the photoshoot. 🙂 Here are her maternity pictures with Blue taken just days before her puppies were born!

Before we know it these cuties will be ready to find new, loving homes! For some tips on welcoming a new puppy into your home, I highly recommend this book, Perfect Puppy in 7 Days. I also talk about that book here. It was written by a veterinarian who worked in behavior. The book has lots of pictures and specific recommendations which I liked. We used the schedule and tips recommended in the book and it felt so good to have a plan when we brought our own puppy home!
