Blue and Indigo’s puppies are 6 weeks old now! 🙂 They have gotten so big and playful. They’re looking like such big puppies!
Cindy and I and to work around our busy schedules and the rain but we made this photoshoot happen! Can you see the rain in the pictures?
Look at those blue eyes!! Mr. Sky will be ready to find a new family in a couple weeks. 🙂 He’s SO playful and adventurous. The puppies are at that stage where they jump and hop and wrestle all the time. It’s SO much fun!! They are discovering how to run and it’s adorable watching them try out all their new skills.
Now that Blue and Indigo’s puppies are getting older, they will probably be ready for a steady routine.
Puppies (and kids!) do really well with a schedule. I highly recommend this book, Perfect Puppy in 7 Days. For more of my tips for new puppies you can also check out the blog post.
Once puppies finish their vaccinations you might want to think about obedience classes. My dog and I are currently going to Best Friends Obedience.
So far we have learned SO MUCH at the classes. We really want to have a polite dog that everyone loves to be around. Some nights I take our dog to class and some nights my husband takes her so we both get to be a part of the class and learn how to work with the dog.
Isn’t Miss Periwinkle so sweet! She is so dainty and petite but she can turn on the fun and hang with her brothers!
