Dub what?
That’s what I first thought when someone told me about Dubsado. Nicole Begley from Hair of The Dog has a tutorial in her academy program to explain how Dubsado can change your business life! At the time I was in her course I was just starting to think about a photography business and I was caught up in the shooting and editing lessons. I didn’t realize how important the Dubsado lesson would be to my business! No matter how good of a photographer you are you won’t be successful without good business practices!
Nicole runs a profitable pet photography business and I trust her advice. She was so excited about Dubsado that I signed up for my free trial. You are allowed to have 3 clients or projects before you have to pay for a plan and there is no time limit on when you have to have those 3 clients. How great is that?! For me, that was enough time to see if Dubsado was a good fit and to become really familiar with all the features.
I’m in several Facebook photography groups and I found out that Honeybooks is another popular CRM program. When I search those photography groups for Honeybooks there are a LOT of mixed reviews. Whenever I search for reviews about Dubsado there are only positive comments! For me, that says so much.
If you are looking for a client relationship manager this is a great one. First of all, their customer service is outstanding. They are so helpful and have a chat feature if you want some instant feedback.
I found a lot of tutorials on youtube but Dubsado also has their own videos which are really helpful too. Here is one of my favorite videos from YouTube!
One of my favorite features is that I was able to create contact forms which I embedded on my website. Now when a potential client signs up from my website their info gets directly stored and saved for me!
From a client view point, Dubsado makes staying organized really easy. Each client gets their own dashboard with their contract available for e-signing and invoices can be paid easily.
