The Kentucky Horse Park is a magical place! For horse crazy kids (and adults!) it just doesn’t’ get any better.
I was a pony clubber. Pony club is such a great experience for kids who want to learn more about riding, horse management and just growing as a horse person.
All the pony club riders I got to talk to over the week at Festival were so excited to be riding at the same place where Olympic level riders come to compete. I’m so lucky to live in the horse capital of the world!
As a horse crazy girl myself, I know that having portraits of my horses in my house is a special and impactful thing. I try to approach each sessions with a heart of service for my clients. I truly want to capture some special moments for you and to help you display them beautifully in your home.
It was so much fun meeting pony clubbers from around the country! I met riders from California, Minnesota, Virginia, New York, Maryland, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Missouri, Tennessee, Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

TIP: Girls photograph beautifully in maxi dresses and skirts. I’ve found some really cute dresses at Baltic Born.
Then, after you’re back home from your horse show, we’ll zoom and you can view the magic we captured at your portrait shoot. 🙂

Tips for anyone looking to set up a vendor booth.
- The 10 x 10 EZ Up tent was amazing. We got sides to go with it which I feel gave it a more polished look.
- I got the easels, and table cloth from amazon.
- My floor is from Ollie’s Bargain Outlet
- The burlap runners are from Hobby Lobby.
- Make sure you have chairs and WATER because you’ll need to take breaks after standing and talking to people all day.
- I also had some carrots and dog treats for people to take and give to their horses and dogs at the show. 🙂
